I am having the same issue on my wrt310N v2 router. Yesterday, I switched from ddwrt to openwrt. While running ddwrt, I was using some HT20 mode, which was working great! My wireless speed was around 140mbps, I think. OpenWrt is also used to register the external IPv4 address to the no-ip DDNS.
